FAQs

How computer literate to I need to be to take an online course?

Taking an online program is similar to reading a book. You can navigate though the modules and pages in the same manner simply by clicking where you want to go. Instructions are provided throughout the course, and you can reach out for help via email: info@traincan.com.


Is Access Instant?

Yes. Once you receive your pin and password from Noraxx, CNE or your vender, you will be able to log in and set up your profile to begin the training.


Can I do the course in more than one sitting?

We encourage you to work at the program at your own pace. The system will remember where you left off and start you there the next time you log in.


Can I use different computers/tablets/phone to access the course?

Yes. You can access your account 24/7 from any computer/tablets/phones that have an Internet connection.


What do I do if my password doesn’t work?

  1. Make sure your Caps Lock button is off as passwords are case sensitive.
  2. If you have logged in before, you would have been asked to change your password. If you have forgotten your new password simply click on the "Forgot my Password?" link on the student log in page and your account info will be emailed to the email address you used when you first signed on.
  3. If you are still unable to log in, please contact us. Our technical support staff will assist you.


How long do I have to finish the course(s) that I have enrolled in?

Yes, this is no problem. You can access your account 24/7 from any computer or tablet that has an Internet connection.


Can I fail a course?

As long as you complete all the modules and module quiz questions, you will receive a digital completion certificate that can be downloaded and saved.


Is this a food handler certification recognized by Public Health?

No. This is a foundation course that is required for your employment at the CNE 2023. Noraxx, the auditing company for the CNE will be checking your successful completion of the Foundations of Food Handling course. If you want to earn your Food handler certification recognized by Public Health, please go to https:www.traincan.com for more information.

All information is stored in accordance with Canadian privacy laws. All data is stored in Canada.
